How do I make a booking?

We accept online booking.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept payments made with the following credit cards:

  • MasterCard – (Euro/ GBP/ USD)
  • Visa – (Euro/ GBP/ USD)
  • American Express – (USD)

Which currencies do you accept?

We accept Rand, Euro, USD and GBP.

Do you provide secured payment when paying online?

For maximum security, all online payments are done via MasterCard's secured payment gateway. Accordingly you can be 100% sure that the payment is very safe and secured through a 32bit encryption operated in cooperation with MasterCard International.

Cape Town Attractions does not receive any of your credit card details; all the card details are kept only by the credit card company. Cape Town Attractions only receives a confirmation from the bank that the payment was made.

Also, when paying using a credit card, you also enjoy the insurance provided by all credit card company.

What age do I need to be to rent a car?

You are required to be older than 21 and in possession of an unendorsed license for a minimum of two years. This applies to international drivers as well.

Will I have the exact car that I choose?

Yes, you will have the exact car (model and colour) that you choose.

What type of driving license do I need?

All South African driving licenses issued by the South African authority are accepted.

International driving licenses, as long as they are in English and contain the driver's photograph are also accepted.

Can I make a request for extra features?

GPS and baby seats are also offered at an additional cost.

What are the procedures when I have an accident?

In the unfortunate event of an accident, remember the following important guidelines:

  1. Take care of/get help for the injured
  2. Do not admit liability
  3. Take down all the particulars of the other driver/s or persons/witnesses involved - Name, Identification No, Vehicle Registration, Insurance Details and Contact Details
  4. Notify US immediately
  5. Do not have the vehicle towed away unless authorized by US.

Why do I need to provide my flight information?

By providing us with a flight number ensures that we are aware of arrival time and can check on any flight delays. If we are aware that your flight is delayed we will keep the reservation and not rent the vehicle to another customer due to a "no show".

What do I do if I want to extend my rental period?

Please inform us well in advance so that we can re-schedule our timing.
